5MT TRANSMISSION CASE FLEX STOPPER. Choose you application, Right side for reversed ring and pinion, rear engine. The reversed ring and pinion is positioned with the ring gear on the right hand side which is where the Case Flex Saver will need to be installed. or Left side for standard configuration, front or mid engine. The standard configuration ring and pinion is positioned with the ring gear on the Left side which is where the Case Flex Saver will need to be installed.

5MT TRANSMISSION CASE FLEX STOPPER, CFS by Real Functional Car Parts is a unique product that supports the front differential flex caused under extreme load.  With a few case modifications to add the heavy duty through bolts and some measurements, the CFS can be added to the transmission without taking it apart.  When properly spaced the CSF will add 5x the support to the case to aid in mitigating the flex from the pinion gear pushing the ring gear away as they transfer the power to the ground.  Our in-house engineered and CNC machined CFS gives that much needed support to the 5mt and 6mt cases to ensure proper R+P engagement is maintained under all conditions.  With options for standard and reversed configurations, this is the solution for a longer lasting transmission under severe loads.

The case flex stopper has the elements to create a much stronger case. Included is the case flex stopper, shims, 4 bolts with nuts and proper size drill bit for the 7/16″ bolts.
